OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2011. The board of directors of Rostelecom (MICEX: RTKM, RTKM-002D - RTKM-017D, RTKMP; PTC: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY) elected professor of the National Research University Higher School of Economics Ivan Ivanovich Rodionov as its presiding authority.

Ivan Ivanovich Rodionov was born on November 30, 1953 in Moscow.

In 1979 he graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

He holds a Ph.D. in economics.

In 1975-1990 he worked as senior scientific research worker at The International Center of Scientific and Technical Information.

From 1990 to 1991 he was head of the marketing division of the All-Union Institute of Scientific and Technical Information.

From 1991 to 1993 he was employed as head of the research department for the economic feasibility of the projects Associations of Business Collaboration Science and Technical Progress.

From 1993 to 1994 he was deputy head of the investment department of the Russian Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

In 1994 he accepted as deputy head of the investment department of Onexim Bank.

In 1996-1997 he was named director of the project financing department of Alfa Bank.

From 1997 to 2006 he held the position of head and managing director of AIG Brunswick Capital Management, and from 2004 to 2006 he concurrently held the position of managing director of AIG Interros RSF Advisors.

In 2003 he was hired as professor of the National Research University Higher School of Economics and in 2006 he was hired as professor of the Russian State Humanities University.
