OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2011. Belarus’ internal debt increased 9.5% on the month in June 2011 to 12.302 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of July 1, 2011, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told reporters.

In 1H 2011 internal debt expanded 32.7%. Belarus’ internal debt edged down 2.6% in January-June 2011 in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 22.2%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 77.8%.
