OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2011. SORAINEN advised East Capital Explorer, a listed investment company with headquarters in Stockholm, on investing in leading Estonian infrastructure construction company TREV-2 Group. In 2010, SORAINEN advised BaltCap on its acquisition of a minority stake in TREV-2 Group and in 2011 SORAINEN is advising East Capital Explorer on investing in the same company, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN.

East Capital Explorer has agreed to invest EUR 4 million in TREV-2 Group. Following the investment, East Capital Explorer will own 18.5% of TREV-2 Group shares (together with other East Capital entities approximately 25%) and receive a seat on the supervisory board.

Gert Tiivas, CEO of East Capital Explorer says: “We are pleased to make this direct investment in TREV-2 Group. The company has a strong track record in the region with a high calibre management team. Our common goal is to further grow the company, which is a good IPO candidate.”

The SORAINEN team was led by partner Toomas Prangli and senior associate Paul Kunnap.
