OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2011. The Bank of Moscow has concluded a 12-month 10 bln ruble loan agreement with NPO Kosmos (limited liability company). The funds will be allocated for construction of the 2nd complex of the Leningrad and Volokolamask Highway Interchange by Sokol Metro station in Moscow, in particular completion of the Baltic Tunnel.

The Bank of Moscow has also granted a guarantee of contract performance in favour of the Moscow City Construction Department to a sum of RUR 5 bln for a 4-year term for development of working documents and performance of contractual work on Construction of the Leningrad and Volokolamask Highway Interchange by Sokol Metro station, consisting of: the Leningrad and Volokolamask Highway Interchange by Sokol Metro station (1st stage of the 2nd start-up complex) and Overpass at the intersection of Baltiyskaya St. and B. Akademicheskaya St., with the Riga line of Moscow Railways (1st stage), in the region of Sokol, Aeroport, Koptevo and Voikovskiy.

Participation by the Bank of Moscow in Moscow infrastructure projects is a priority for us", commented Igor Dubonosov, General Manager of the Bank of Moscow Corporate Investment Business Department.

Since 2002, the Bank of Moscow gas extended credits to NPO Kosmos totalling RUR 27.04 bln for covering cash gaps in the budget for financing construction of the 1st stage of the start-up complex of the Leningrad and Volokolamask Highway Interchange by Sokol Metro station.
