OREANDA-NEWS. On September 27-29, the 17th General Assembly of Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) will be held in Almaty with the support of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), reported the press-centre of KASE.

The Assembly will take place in the Rixos Almaty Hotel (Almaty, 506/99, Seifullin Str).

On September 27, within this large-scale event, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) jointly with KASE will implement the first meeting of the Eurasia Group on Corporate Governance for CapitalMarket Development.

Among the General Assembly participants:
     
- chief executives of exchanges, depositories and brokerage-dealer associations of emerging markets of Europe and Asia as well as international organizations;

- professional participants of the Kazakhstan securities market, Kazakhstan issuers;

- representatives of business media.

Under the events on September 29, 2011 will be held the press conference.

The decision on implementation of the annual General Assembly has been made in December 2010 in Istanbul (Turkey) on the 16th general Assembly, where KASE has entered the FEAS Executive Committee.
