OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2011. According to the results of the first six months of the year of 2011 "Halyk-Kazakhinstrakh" Insurance Subsidiary of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC ("Kazakhinstrakh" JSC) has reserved the first place in the insurance market of Kazakhstan according to the results of collection of net premiums and expenses for insurance payments, reported the press-centre of KASE.

The volume of net insurance premiums received by the Company from beginning of the year amounted to 16.3 billion tenge that made 18% of the total volume of all received net insurance premiums in the market in "General Insurance" sector. As compared with the similar period of the previous year the market share of that index has increased by 4%.

During the reporting period the Company regulated insurance cases to the amount over 1.9 billion tenge* that makes up 19% from all insurance payments in "General Insurance" sector of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhinstrakh remains among three leading companies on the insurance market by the size of its capital and assets volume. If compared with the similar last year period the authorized capital did not change and as of the reporting date made up 4.5 billion tenge; the assets volume exceeded 33 billion tenge and increased by 3.1 billion tenge.

The insurance reserves as of July 1, 2011 made up 15.7 billion tenge. Thus, Kazakhinstrakh to increase reliability level on obligations fulfillment to its clients increased reserves by 15% if compared with the first half of 2010.
