TISCO Plan to Speed up Key Projects
OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2011. TISCO key project report meeting was held. TISCO Chairman Li Xiaobo chaired the meeting. Relevant head of each project reported progress of their project in the meeting. TISCO managment made in-depth discussion on key projects and made comments and suggestions on accelerating the pace of projects, reported the press-centre of TISCO.
After listening to report and comments from each project and management, Li Xiaobo made an important speech. After his systematic analysis of the macroeconomic situation and the current situation in the steel industry, he pointed out that, TISCO's objective task for this year is very heavy. Through the joint efforts of company staff in the first half year, the company has finished half of its overall mission and main economic indicators works well. We shall consolidate the result we have achieved, and present a good start for company's "twelfth-five" development. At the same time,we must note that in the second half year and even the whole "twelfth-five" period, the company shall face more opportunities and more challenges. Leaders at all levels should fully understand the situation, seize opportunities, face challenges, and focus on accelerating the company's "twelfth-five" development strategy.
Li Xiaobo said, party secretary of Shanxi province, Mr. Yuan Chunqing delivered an important speech in meeting held by Shanxi Provincial Party Committee on July 28. Secetary Yuan highlighted that, Shanxi is in a major investment development phase, we should further increase investment under precondition of optimization of investment structure, enhance the stable and rapid economic development potential; we should strengthen and accelerate the pace of restructuring on a broader and greater platform. we should take the economic restructuring as a main direction of economic development, take recycle economic as the basic path to transform and upgrade traditional industries, take technology and innovation as the fundamental driving force to cultivate new industries, take innovation and entrepreneurship as the main starting point to develop modern service industry, pay close attention to big-scale project and good projects to stimulate internal power of transformation. Secetary Yuan's speech has important guiding significance for us to accelerate the "twelfth-five" development. Company leaders at all levels shall carefully study Yuan's speech, combine study with practical situation, open mind, accomplish measures and seriously implement the spirit of the speech.

All projects should be aware of benchmarking, scientific decision-making, and strict management to ensure low cost and quick effect of the project investment. Project managers and professional groups should perform their functions, strengthen research and analysis, and provide strong support for scientific decision making.
