OREANDA-NEWS. Starting from 5 September 2011, Estonian Air will resume flights between Tallinn and Vilnius serving the route with eight weekly flights, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays flights are operated twice a day with early morning and evening departure from Tallinn. On Mondays and Fridays flights are operated once a day with evening departure from Tallinn.

The route is served with 33-seater SAAB 340 aircraft, the flight time is 1 hour and 25 minutes.

„The approaching business season brings along increasing demand in direct flights between the two Baltic capital cities and therefore Estonian Air resumes the air link between Tallinn and Vilnius. The schedule has been designed to meet the demand of the Estonian market, by offering an early morning departure from Tallinn together with an evening return flight,” said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Commercial Vice President.

Estonian Air is planning to increase flight frequencies at the end of October, by adding morning flights on Mondays and Fridays, and evening flights on Sundays,“ added Parras.
