OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2011. Latvijas Krajbanka offers the opportunity for its cardholders to withdraw cash up to 50 lats at one purchase when paying at the store with a payment card for any amount. The minimum amount of cash that can be withdrawn at one purchase is 1 sanitim, but the maximum amount - 50 lats. Unlike ATMs issuing only banknotes, payment card users can withdraw the amount in lats and santims. For instance,  a customer along with a purchase can get 3 lats 75 sanims in cash (of course, if the merchant has such amount of cash available), reported the press-centre of Latvijas Krajbanka.

For the card user the Cashback service has no difference from the regular purchase. When  you pay with a payment card, you should mention the amount you would like to withdraw from your card account. The desired cash amount will be added to the purchase. Enter the pin code for transaction approval. On the purchase receipt there will be separately identified amount of the purchase and cash withdraw.

The service Cashback costs to the cardholders as much as the cash withdrawal from the ATMs of Latvijas Krajbanka. Cashback is available for following payment cards: VISA Chocolate Card (Sokolades karte), Dizkarte VISA, VISA Gold, VISA Student / Youth, Duet Maestro, VISA Classic, VISA Gold and VISA Platinum. Merchants offering the Cash back service can be identified by the purple round logo "Naudas izmaksa" located next to Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron and American Express labels.

Currently the service is available in 400 trade places throughout Latvia. Cashback in Latvia is provided by such merchants as the IKI, Daugava, Saule stores in Latgale, and at a number of regional gas stations.
