OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2011. In the import substitution program which develops the Government the special partition about production of the goods for schoolchildren should be entered. It was declared by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at a press briefing after visiting the store "Children's World" in Kiev.

"The parents have complained what expensively to gather the child to school. Have advised to go into the store to be convinced that it is not enough Ukrainian goods and the import expensive. So here I am. Now the Government works over the import substitution program. I think that we there will enter a special partition that will be directed on recovering in our country production of all of that is necessary for schoolchildren", - Mykola Azarov told.

He has added that import substitution would not only cover the production of school uniforms but also portfolios, sports suits, etc.

The Head of Government has familiarised in the store "Children's World" with the prices for the goods for schoolchildren because according to the parents of schoolchildren of secondary school №258 Dniprovsky district of Kyiv to gather a child to school it is necessary to spend about 1.5 thousand UAH. The parents are assured also that in shops the goods of the Chinese and Turkish production dominate.

"We were convinced that it not absolutely so - there are also the domestically production goods though not so it is a lot of them and here the prices really could be more low and assortment and quality - above. Especially taking into account those privileges which we this year have given to our  light industry", - the Prime Minister has underlined and has reminded that the current Tax Code frees  light industry from paying taxes on profits.
