OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2011.   Acceptance tests of two tertiary cone crushers KMD-2200Gr2-D produced by Uralmashplant for National Minerals Development Corporation (India) have been conducted in the presence of the Customer representatives. Both units have been found fit and ready for shipment.

KMD-2200Gr2-D cone crushers (with 2200mm crusher-head base, Gr2-type crushing chamber and remote control unit) are intended for Donimalai iron-ore project.

Uralmashplant and NMDC have enjoyed the benefits of long-lasting partnership. Over the last four years, Uralmashplant and NMDC have negotiated a number of contracts for the delivery of various types of crushers. Besides, the company has manufactured and delivered open-pit crawler-mounted excavators EKG-4,6 and EKG-5A for its partner in India.

At present Indian government has started a new program, which aims at iron-ore mining operations. The project includes NMDC expansion of iron ore mining from 5 to 10 mln. tons p.a. within the next two years. This will inevitably imply further procurement of accessory equipment, including that of Uralmashplant production.
