OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2011.   124 thousands and 893 motor vehicles to the sum of almost USD1.7 billion USD were brought to Ukraine during the first 6 months of current year, that makes 4.4% of general merchandise to Ukraine for the same period. 

 Next is the commodity structure of motor vehicles import transport for the first half-year:
cars – 77,555 units to the sum of 1 billion and USD243 million USD;
trucks – 43,185 units to the sum of USD305.4 million USD;
tractors – 2,651 units to the sum of USD64.1 million USD;
busses – 1,136 units to the sum of USD20.4 million USD;
special-purpose vehicles- 366 units on USD61.1 million USD.
 At the same time domestic motor vehicles enterprises have exported beyond the country 19 thousand 906 motor vehicles to the sum of USD197.3 million USD, which is 0.6% of all currency receipt out of the exporting goods. The export structure is:
 cars – 18,783 units to the sum of USD133 million USD;
 trucks - 636 units to the sum of USD34.9 million USD;
 busses - 274 units to the sum of USD17.6 million USD;
 tractors & special-purpose vehicles- 213 units on USD11.8 million USD.
 Thus, the motor vehicles trade deficit in the first half amounted to USD1.5 billion USD.
 Total imports to Ukraine during the first six months of 2011 made up to USD38.3 billion USD, and export - USD32.8 billion USD. As a consequence, the negative balance of foreign trade is USD5.5 billion USD.
