In the second quarter of 2011 Victoriabank holds 45% market share of all transactions made with banking cards in commercial points served by the bank, which equals the total share held by all competing banks together. Moreover, the volume made with cards issued abroad in Victoriabank’s commercial points – amount to 52.43%, reported the press-centre of Victoriabank.

In recent years, the confidence of the population in bank cards as a convenient and safe payment instrument increased greatly." The Director of Banking Cards Department, Vladimir Stovbun said.

This is explained by the fact that Victoriabank is a pioneer in the credit cards market of the Republic of Moldova, launching the first innovative products for Moldova, such as the first credit card, the first ATM, the first POS terminal, the first processing center. In addition, it is the first in top banks which offers the biggest variety of cards, providing customers debit and credit cards, a multifunctional card with 4 accounts and cards for salary projects.
