OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2011. The first 67 tonnes batch of forage for animals of pig complex arrived to Omsk. The animals will come to Omsk region from Ireland in early September (40 boars and 760 sows). This batch will be enough for feeding of 800 pigs within two first quarantine months, reported the press-centre of Titan.

The forage was bought from Chelyabinsk public company KHP of Grigorovich – the enterprise won corresponding tender of company limited “Titan-Agro” which is realizing agroindustrial biocluster of the project PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters (the head of the project is deputy M. A. Sutyaginsky). Preliminarily a specialist from the enterprise made a trip to Ural to control formulation of the production.

Two grades of forage will be proposed to the Irish piglets: SK-2 which is used for pedigree boars (5 tonnes) and SK-6 which is recommended for the feeding of young pedigree sows (62 tonnes). Cooperation with Chelyabinsk will be continued until own provender plant of the company starts.
