OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2011. As part of the educational project “Training of Specialists – Participants in Investment Projects Implemented with the Assistance of Development Institutions” in the period from 6 to 30 July 2011 State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs Vnesheconombank” declared a competition for the best innovation project for the participants in the theme session “Innovations and Technical Creativity” at the Seliger-2011 All-Russian Education Forum.

The competition aims to encourage the process of commercializing innovation ideas, developments and inventions through broadening expertise of Russia’s future research and technical specialists on the mechanisms for raising investments to implement innovation projects.

The competition was initiated at Vnesheconombank’s consultative center. The competition’s participants were required to fill in a questionnaire and give a maximally detailed description of their innovation projects. The requests received went through two selection stages at Vnesheconombank’s structural subdivisions. All in all, the Bank received 24 requests from Moscow, the Belgorod, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Leningrad, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Orel, Samara, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk regions, the Perm, Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories as well as from the Khany-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra.

The winners of the completion were: Zhanna S. Panina, a fifth year student of the Samara State Aerospace University named after Academician S.P. Korolev, the city of Samara. The Project of Human Cardiovascular System Condition Diagnostics.

Sergei A Firsov, a fifth year student of the Tomsk National Research State University, the city of Tomsk. The Project of Plasma Chemical Reactor for Utilization of Associated Petroleum Gas.

Akhmedova Darja R. a fifth year student of the State University of Management, the city of Balashikha. The Project of Introducing Patent Fibre-Optic Cable into the Structure of Power Electric Cable.

The winners of the competition will undertake a 4-week paid training at Vnesheconombank’s investment subdivisions.

During their training the students will receive in-depth consultations on their own projects and will study the way the Bank’s structural subdivisions operate and will be able to apply received knowledge in practice.
