OREANDA-NEWS. September 6, 2011. On 6-9 September 2011, Atakent Exhibition Centre pavilions in Almaty will be hosting the major exhibitions in this region, KazBuild and Aqua-Therm Almaty. The events are organised by ITE Group Plc (United Kingdom), Iteca (Kazakhstan), Gima (Germany), EUF (Turkey,) and Fin-Mark (Italy).

As compared to the past year, the exhibitions have increased by 20%. The joint exposition presents 440 direct and indirect exhibitors from 27 countries worldwide. Of the total number of exhibitors, 56% regularly take part in the event and 44% are newcomers. It is gratifying to note that Kazakhstan is in the lead in terms of the number of companies represented which make up 42% of the exposition; the number of European companies has exceeded 22%; and the leader among CIS countries is the Russian Federation accounting for 15% of the exposition. Representation geography has expanded through participation of beginner companies from Azerbaijan, Jordan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Sweden and USA. High activity was demonstrated by companies participating in the Interiors and Aqua-Therm-Almaty.

Four national groups will be traditionally represented at KazBuild 2011 and Aqua-Therm Almaty 2011, which testifies to the great interest of the international trade community in the market of Kazakhstan, as well as the renown and credibility of these expo events as such. Along with the traditional national groups from Germany (15 companies), Finland (8 companies), France (10 companies), and South Korea (20 companies), companies from Italy (24 companies) are massively present.

Novelties. At KazBuild 2011, professionals will be offered some 150 new product items in the spheres of lighting, insulation, finishing materials, dry mixes, fixing materials, new faзade systems, new exclusive stone collections, parquet flooring, sidings with unique technical characteristics, shatterproof plastic wood, aluminium and plastic shapes, spotlights, top security locks, and a lot more; Aqua-Therm Almaty 2011, in turn, will present novelties in the field of heating systems such as: boilers, radiators, underfloor heating, UV heating systems, bathroom accessories, multi-stage water filters, and innovative solutions for wastewater treatment – about 60 product items in all.

For your information:  official statistic data provided by the Agency for Construction and Housing Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first half of 2011 shows a substantial increase in the volume of investments into housing construction (KZT 171. 4 billion, or 124.3% as compared to the same period in 2010). Across the country, 21,228 flats have been commissioned with 2.4 million square meters of housing put into operation.

The international level of organisation of KazBuild and Aqua-Therm Almaty is confirmed by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

 The total exposition features companies from 27 countries as follows: Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Jordan, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and United States.

Official support for the events is provided by the Agency for Construction and Housing Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Akimat, and Diplomatic Missions of the exhibiting countries.

The next KazBuild and Aqua-Therm Almaty Exhibitions will be taking place in a year, on 4-7 September 2012.
