OREANDA-NEWS. September 07, 2011. The Sudzucker Moldova company has been fulfilling terms of the sugar supply contract with Bucuria JSC ahead of schedule. It was informed about this by Octavian Armasu, member of board of the Sudzucker Moldova’s. He said the company is ready to supply 100 tones of sugar to the largest confectionary plant of the country within the next 2-3 days.

Under the contract, the company was to supply this volume of sugar by the end of September. Octavian Armasu emphasized that only from last Friday till Monday, Sudzucker Moldova company had supplied 50 tones of sugar to the Bucuria and it is ready to deliver all contract 100 tones of sugar ahead of schedule and to increase the volume of supplies to the confectionary. The member of board of the Sudzucker Moldova said the contract as a whole provided for delivery of about 1,000 tones of sugar to the Bucuria from June 1 till the end-September. 900 tones of that volume have already been supplied.

He stressed that Bucuria is Sudzucker Moldova’s biggest partner. The company has been selling and will continue to sell sugar to Bucuria in needed volumes on preferential terms, with discounts. Octavian Armasu underlined that Sudzucker Moldova had done and would continue doing its best for Bucuria to receive necessary volumes of sugar at a good, preferential price. He said the company has good relations with the Chisinau confectionary.

Commenting upon the statements made by the Bucuria JSC’s CEO Roman Treachin, according to which Sudzucker Moldova has been delaying supplies of the contract 100 tones of sugar, Octavian Armasu said perhaps he had been wrongly informed about this matter and it is unknown why such situation had taken place.
