OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2011. President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed the Government to create a unified state Internet portal of administrative services. "We need to create a single public Internet portal of administrative services so that the people, society, entrepreneurs could know arbitrariness of the officials from the clearly defined powers of the state,” he said at today’s meeting of the Economic Reforms Committee.

Viktor Yanukovych noted that at the previous meeting of the Committee, the overall strategy of reform in the area of administrative services had been considered, priority steps identified, and immediate start of work agreed, but there is still no progress in this direction.

Among the remaining problems Viktor Yanukovych named such practices as self-supporting enterprises being delegate the powers to provide administrative services, some state enterprises delegating their functions to central authorities, constant increase in numbers of paid administrative services in various areas, etc.

He requested the Prime Minister to make a full inventory of all the administrative services for their clear separation into those really administrative and ordinary business ones.

"Let us define the fate of each administrative service: will it continue to exist, or not," Viktor Yanukovych said.
