OREANDA-NEWS. September 8, 2011.  An integrated inspection of the plant safety was successfully completed at Rostov NPP. Basing on its results a record was signed stating that the plant safety conforms to requirements of the regulatory documentation.
 
Similar integrated inspections are carried out at the Russian nuclear power plants in accordance with a schedule of regulatory requirements to be met by the Russian NPPs in the field of the use of atomic energy.
 
The commission which conducted the inspection included representatives of ROSATOM, Rosenergoatom Concern, specialists from Smolensk, Kalinin and Novovoronezh NPPs.
 
During one week, safety experts were inspecting the plant’s work on nuclear, radiation, industrial, fire and environmental safety, radioactive waste management safety, organization work with the personnel, prevention of the plant operational events and labor protection.
