OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. As a result of seven months of 2011 in the agricultural sector received an increase of gross product against the same period last year to 9,1%.  This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyaznyuk at a press conference entitled “The results of work of agrarian and industrial complex of Ukraine for seven months 2011”.

As he said, gross output production has increased in 23 regions, from them the greatest in Kharkiv (by 36,1%), Kherson (by 22,8%), Vinnitsa (by 22,5%), Khmelnitsky (by 16%) regions.
Other positive macroeconomic trends in the last 7 months of this year include the increase:

- by 19% income tax assets in the consolidated budget;

- 2,1 times the volume of lending to agricultural enterprises;

- by 35% of the export potential of the agricultural sector and others.

Completed collection of early grain crops and leguminous plants, which are harvested 34,2 million tons of grain at an average yield of 30,6 centner/ha (24% more than in 2010).

The highest total yield was obtained in the Odessa region – 2,7 million tons, Vinnytsia – 2,4 million tons, Kherson - nearly 2,3 million tons, Mykolayv and Kharkiv - at 2,2 million tons, Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk -  of 2,1 million tons, Donetsk – 1,9 million tons, Crimea – 1,8 million tons, and Khmelnytsky and Kirovohrad - in 1,6 million tons each, Poltava – 1,5 million tons, Cherkassy -  1,4 million tons.  Million mark reached Kyiv, Sumy and Ternopil regions.

Ongoing collection of the late cereal, grain and industrial crops, sunflower, soybeans and other products. Total, according to the regions data, in this year are expected total grain harvest of about 50 million tons (11 million tons more than last year), sugar beet – 16,5 million tons (2,8 million tons), oilseeds – 10,7 million tons (0,7 million tons), vegetables – 8,5 million tons (0,4 million tons), potatoes – 20,0 million tons (1,3 million tons).

Growth of volumes of goods of plant growing this year occurs first of all at the expense of deepening of an intensification of agricultural production that is provided by observance of technology requirements.
