OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2011. To study the situation and search for the optimal public-private partnership model at these objects, the Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry is organizing a number of negotiations with the airports’ representatives, the Ministry’s press service reported.

Following the meetings, the airports’ leadership will present their suggestions regarding the form of cooperation with private companies, infrastructure development and others. These measures are taken in the context of Moldova’s joining the Single Europe Sky and fit into the plan of actins for civil aviation development for 2011.

The first meeting was held this week with representatives of the airport in Cahul. Moldova’s joining the Single European Sky will give new opportunities to Moldova’s airlines and for the country’s airports. The first round of the talks with the EU over the Agreement on joining the Single European Sky was held in July this year.
