OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2011. “We must form a good, modern structure of FAS Russia”, said Stats-Secretary Andrey Tsarikovskiy, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) on 8th September 2011 at the extended session of FAS Collegium, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Andrey Tsarikovskiy informed the audience that FAS was one of the first public bodies that made a decision to obtain certification ISO 9001. It is, first of all, related to intensification of the efforts of the Antimonopoly Service, which requires to increase labour productivity and improve management methods.

“Obtaining certification is not an end in itself. International certification standard ISO 9001 will not only enable FAS to have a prestigious certificate but also improve the quality of the system of management within the Antimonopoly Service”, pointed out Deputy Head of Russia.

FAS Russia plans to generalize and expand an international experience in this field and its own practice of obtaining ISO 9001 certification. The experience and knowledge for shaping systemic management in FAS Russia will be integrated in training programmes for FAS officers, particularly on the basis of FAS Training Centre in Kazan. On 28th July 2011 the Government of the Russian Federation signed an Order to form a Training Centre of FAS Russia in Kazan.

“FAS Training Centre will fully meet European standards, which will allow us to advance qualification of the officers of the Antimonopoly Service, organise conferences, workshops, including international events, interact with CIS countries. I believe that in the future we will be able to make it a European Training Centre”, said Andrey Tsarikovskiy.
