OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2011. From September 13 through September 16 Expocentre hosts the 20th Anniversary International Food & Drinks Exhibition World Food Moscow’2011.

The exhibition is co-organized by companies I.T.E. Group P.L.C. (Great Britain) and I.T.E, LLC  (Russia). Since the year 1992 the World Food Moscow show has been annually held at the leading Russian exhibition venue with the assistance from Expocentre.

The exposition of the anniversary exhibition will be located on the area of 22 500 sq. m (net) in Pavilions Nos. 1, 2 (Halls 1–3), 3, 7 (Halls 3–6), 8, Forum and at the open-air sites of Expocentre Fairgrounds. 

World Food Moscow’2011 will enjoy participation of 1350 companies from 57 countries including 580 Russian enterprises and organizations. 27 participating countries will showcase their manufacturers’ production within their national displays.

World Food Moscow traditionally comprises 11 thematic expositions covering all the sectors of the food market.

The 5th Russian Food Forum held within the exhibition will encourage a dialogue among food industry professionals, experts representing various branches of the food industry, representatives of ministries, departments and international organizations. A traditional event within the exhibition is the PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2011 professional tasting contest. The contest is organized by the Central Tasting Commission of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

The Retail Centre of the exhibition provides full information about new products and the latest tendencies of the food market, allows the participants to showcase their best products and have negotiations with leading retail chains. World Food Moscow’2011 will include a contest for the best retail chain’s private label Retail TM AWARDS.

The World Food Moscow’2011 participants have a unique opportunity to learn about the latest products of domestic and foreign exhibitors in a special zone: New Product Showcase.

For the first time the World Food Moscow’2011 exhibition offers Wine Tasting from winners of the prestigious Russian winemaking contest Southern Russia.
