OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2011. A total of 101 projects on inviting outside investment were newly signed on Sept 16 in Huainan, a northern city of Anhui Province.

The news was announced by Cao Yong, mayor of Huainan, on a signing ceremony of investment project as the sideline of the 18th Chinese Bean-curd Cultural Festival held in Huainan. The signed projects, including USD 1.1 billion for foreign and 38.8 billion yuan (USD 6.1 billion) for domestic investments, covered a wide sphere, such as high-tech, agriculture, manufacturing, services, travel and education.

Mayor Cao Yong briefed the participants on the city's environment of investment and industrial progress and showed government's sincerity to inviting outside investment. "We'll promise every entrepreneur a happy life in our city with a free and open environment of investment," he assured investors on the ceremony.

After watching a short introduction film entitled "Impression on Huainan", all the participants, including Huainan's major governmental leaders, investors from 10 countries and regions, witnessed the meaningful signing moment.
