OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2011. At the 11th International Specialized Exhibition for Commercial Vehicles COMTRANS’2011 held on 13-17 September 2011, the exposition of KAMAZ will be one of the largest and representative ones.

About 70 exhibits – produced both by KAMAZ and jointly with KAMAZ’s partners, special equipment manufacturers, and joint ventures – will be displayed in the halls with a total area of over 5,000 square meters.

One of the new products that will attract attention of visitors and experts at the exhibition is an up-to-date KAMAZ-5490 truck tractor and a new hybrid bus that can be powered by two types of energy simultaneously.

The KAMAZ-5490 will replace the KAMAZ-5460 truck tractor. The new model will use today’s best technologies designed both by KAMAZ and KAMAZ’s partner – Daimler AG (Germany).

A NEFAZ-5299H low-entry city bus based on a KAMAZ-5297M modernized bus chassis will be for the first time shown to the public. The hybrid propulsion system of the bus consists of a Cummins 6ISBe5 250B diesel engine complying with Euro 5.
