OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2011. Stroytransgaz representatives took part in the fifth meeting of the Working Group on Сooperation in the Energy Sector within the Framework of the Russian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technological Cooperation. The meeting was held on September 15, 2011.

While discussing the oil and gas and electric energy cooperation, the parties pointed out the successful implementation of the GAZELLE gas-main pipeline construction project, in which Stroytransgaz had been participating since 2010. At present, the company is finishing the first stage of the project – construction and installation of the Brandov metering station.

Background
Stroytransgaz has a long-term operational experience in the European market. Since 1994 the company has successfully realized gas pipeline projects in Greece, Finland, Romania and Turkey. The performance of contracts proceeds in Greece and Finland. The European region is one of future-oriented lines of the company business development.

On October 14, 2010, Stroytransgaz was officially awarded a contract for the implementation of Lot No 1 (1-A and 1-B) of the GAZELLE gas pipeline in the Czech Republic. The pipeline, with diameter of 56”, runs 158 kilometers. Net4gas, a main gas pipeline transport operator, is the client under the project. The awarded lot includes the construction of the border metering station Brandov and the pipeline linear part 52.3 km long.
