Troika Dialog, one of the leading full-service investment houses in the CIS, today announces the appointment of Todd Berman as Managing Director, Co-Head of Investment Banking. In his new position, Todd will work alongside Igor Sagiryan to maintain and build upon Troika Dialog's leading position in advising Russian and international institutions, helping them to access the capital markets and achieve their strategic objectives. He will take up his new role in early October 2011.

Todd brings over two decades of experience in the financial services industry to Troika Dialog. He was most recently Global Co-Head of Media & Telecoms, and EMEA Head of Media, Telecoms & Technology, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, responsible for client coverage and transaction execution as well as managing one of the top three global investment banking teams with professionals in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Todd has also previously served as Head of Emerging Europe, Middle East & Africa at Citigroup as well as group Head of Communications investment banking in EMEA at Lehman Brothers. Todd has lived and worked in London, Moscow and New York and has degrees from The Harvard Law School, Cambridge University and Columbia University.

Todd Berman's appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires as Troika Dialog expands its team and prepares for the increased potential presented of a new era as part of Sberbank. Troika has already in 2011 appointed Chris Weafer as Chief Strategist, Olga Klimov as Global Head of Equity Sales and James Corrigan and Anton Malkov as Managing Directors in Investment Banking.
