OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2011. Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine Mykola Zlochevskiy has agreed with the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO, Japan) projects which in the near future will be implemented under the Kyoto Protocol.

At a meeting with the Minister the chairman of HADO Hideo Hato said that the special projects would support construction of new facilities for processing waste. "We are ready to promote the use of new technologies in this field", - Hideo Hato said.

Sides paid special attention to reconstruction and modernization of the Kiev waste processing plant that would significantly improve the environmental of capital. The next important step in cooperation between Ukraine and Japan will be construction of new plants for processing waste in major cities. "In the projects that will solve the problem of rubbish in the biggest cities of Ukraine, both parties are interested and we start to implement them as soon as possible", - Minister Mykola Zlochevsky stressed.
