OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2011. The government of Omsk region summarized work of industrial production in the region for 8 months (relevant index amounted to 108 %), reported the press-centre of Titan.

In particular, one mentioned contribution of one of the enterprises of “Group of Companies “Titan”, “Omsky Kauchuk” plant, into development of industry. In August of this year the plant increased its rubber output 52,9 % against last year.

In company in general one noticed increase in indices of January-August 2011 period (against 2010). Volume of produced rubber for 8 months of this year was increased by 22 %, volume of produced acetone grew by 18 %, volume of produced phenol grew by 18 % (in August the plant produced maximal amount of phenol during its whole history). In general dynamics of all economic indices is positive.

Nowadays production site of the largest enterprise of the Group – “Omsky Kauchuk” plant – is changing significantly. The existing equipment is modernized, new works are developed and “ecological” constituent is improved. The company is continuing its work on adoption of new technologies aimed at decreasing the emissions into environment and wants to start production of ecologically safe goods (for example, oil for the output of “green” tyre which does not produce poisonous substances during braking).

At the same time the main production of “GC “Titan” is continuing to change significantly. These changes are connected with new projects within the framework of realization of PARK project (the head of the project PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters – deputy Mikhail Sutyaginsky). In particular, a new production program is realized which is based on the processing of hydrocarbon feedstock, production of oligomerizates is planned approximately in the volume of 50 thousand tonnes per year and other projects.

For efficient realization of all projects one developed a specific structural unit in the company – production-technical department. Its major tasks are development of the existing production and mastering of the new kinds of production capacities, including the task of solving the questions of petrochemical cluster objects supply with feedstock.
