OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2011. Ukraine and Azerbaijan have agreed that by November 1 will be created a joint company between the State Oil Campaign of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the State Agency for Investment and management of national projects to ensure the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Ukraine. This was announced by the Head of the State Agency for Investment and Management of National Projects Vladyslav Kaskiv.

"The joint company will develop a feasibility study transport of liquefied gas to the Black Sea coast of Ukraine. We expect the signing of this agreement by the end of this month "- said Kaskiv.

"The joint company will carry out development of the feasibility report on transportation of condensed gas to the Black Sea coast of Ukraine. We expect signing this agreement up to the end of this month", - Vladyslav Kaskiv informed.

Thus he noted, that it will allow accelerating realization of the National project LNG-terminal - the marine terminal on reception of condensed natural gas. "Thus, The Strategy of the President on diversification of energy carriers to Ukraine has already got a reality. Construction of LNG - terminal supports efforts of the Ministry of power and the coal industry of Ukraine on strengthening a power security of the country ", - has emphasized the agency head.

Vladyslav Kaskiv said that September 19 was initialled text of the agreement, which provides supplies to Ukraine condensed gas: in 2014 to 2, and from 2015 - 5 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
