OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, representatives of manufacturers of food products and the enterprises of network retail commerce have signed the Memorandum of an indispensability of stabilization of a price situation in the consumer market of the country in Kiev.

From the Government the document was signed by the First vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev.

According to him, manufacturers undertake to prevent undue rise in wholesale prices for socially important food products. Matter is about wheat flour of the premium, bread of a simple compounding, buckwheat, millet, oat, pea and rice cereals, pasta, second class, beef and pork (other than boneless meat), poultry (broiler carcasses 1 category) , cooked sausages (except for a higher grade), cow's milk (fat content to 2.5% inclusive), cottage cheese (up to and including 9%), butter (up 72.5%, inclusive), including, eggs C1 (packed 30 pieces), sugar, refined sunflower oil.

Producers undertake to establish for these food profitability not higher than 12% of its own wholesale prices. They also pledge not to reduce the range of these products and enter into direct contracts with the subjects of retail, said First vice Prime Minister.

In turn, representatives of the retail network in accordance with the document committed to install the listed commodities trading margin not above 10% for manufacturer-supplier without cost to them in intercity transportation. Retail chains also undertook to provide guaranteed availability of these socially important goods in their retail establishments, not to apply for their payment systems, different bonuses and other allowances for the presence on the shelves.

Andriy Klyuyev said that, in turn, the Cabinet committed itself to continue to involve representatives of manufacturers and trade enterprises in the preparation of government decisions on regulation of food markets and trade relations. As an example, he said that the bill "On internal trade," which will pass in the Parliament of Ukraine, was completed in fruitful cooperation with all market participants.

According to Andrei Klyuyev, the Government will promote the release of most local government areas of the construction of the network and proprietary trading of food manufacturers and trade enterprises, which have signed this Memorandum. The First vice Prime Minister stressed that the Cabinet of Ministers interested in the efficient development of branded stores, where domestic producers will trade their products directly, as universal and conventional retail chains. Cabinet will also contribute technical modernization of domestic industries by incorporating energy-saving equipment for food processing industry to the list of energy saving materials, equipment and facilities that are exempt from import duties, and operations with admission to the territory of Ukraine are exempted from levy of VAT.

Andriy Klyuyev said that the Government would control of the memorandum. The document was signed by representatives of many of public organizations, food producers and representatives of retail network.
