OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2011. Belarus’ forestry industry is planning to boost exports by 30% year on year in 2011 to USD 140-145 million, Forestry Minister of Belarus Mikhail Amelyanovich told reporters.

The previous target for the forestry industry was USD 130 million. According to Mikhail Amelyanovich, in January-August 2011 forestry industry’s exports went up 50% on the year.

Consequently, by the year’s end forestry companies are expected to double foreign currency proceeds against 2010 to USD 140-145 million.
