OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2011. Sviaz-Bank has opened its third specialized Mortgage Center in Moscow at 7 Tverskaya Street (Tverskaya underground station).

The Center has a comfortable environment for mortgage transactions to be completed, from preliminary consultancy to mortgage contract signing and loan collection, all intermediate stages attended to by professionals, who will help the borrower to put together a full package of documents and get ready for housing appraisal and insurance. The Bank itself makes arrangements for insurance and legal assistance.

For this purpose, the Bank works hand in hand with some of the biggest and reliable estate agencies and developers who can offer housing the customer wants and can afford to pay for. The Bank’s other services include a state-of-the-art depository.

The Bank now has 54 Mortgage Centers across Russia, including the Moscow and other regions, and can offer services on a federal scale.

Sviaz-Bank launched its mortgage program in 2009. By September 1, 2011, the Bank had built up a 6.5 billion rubles portfolio of mortgage loans issued to individuals.

“We are going to raise the total amount of mortgage loans to individuals to 9 billion rubles,” said Maria Zenina, Director of the Bank’s Retail Banking Products Department. “Mortgages have tripled since the start of 2011, and we hope to maintain this growth rate.”

Sviaz-Bank issues mortgages for the purchase of apartments and private residential houses in the primary and secondary housing markets at an interest rate from a minimum 9.5% per annum up for a term of up to 30 years.
