OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2011. Famous resorts of South Vietnam become closer for Russian tourists. This year, on the 15th of November Vladivostok Air launches a new air traffic between Vladivostok and Ho Chi Minh City (Socialist Republic of Vietnam). A new international flight from Primorye’s capital will be operated twice a month on Tuesdays. Flights will be operated on comfortable aircrafts — Airbus A300-300 (327 seats: 24 in the business class and 303 in the economy class).

Flights to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon in the past) have replaced the flights to Cam Rah that were successfully launched on December last year. Our company is sure that the potential and the appeal of new Vietnamese destinations are able to draw even more tourists from Russia. Considering this and the fact that Cam Ranh airport can’t receive aircrafts with heavy wide fuselages (Airbus A330), Vladivostok Air has organized a new flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Also this city is situated nearer to famous Vietnamese resorts.

Nha Trang, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet and other famous resorts of South Vietnam enjoy deserved popularity. Situated on the coast of South China Sea, South Vietnamese resorts are practically the most popular places of recreation in the country. Comfortable beaches and beautiful crystal clear sea predetermined their development of large recreational centers that are ready to receive the most exacting guests. This hospitable region is famous for its fanciful embellishments of ancient constructions, the recognizable French style of the majority of buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, the Chamic Towers, the Reclining Budda on the mountain Ta Ku, 114 year-old Ke Ga lighthouse (64m high), the many-coloured Red Canyon, white dunes and the lotus lake, medicinal mineral springs and therapeutic muds. Now, thanks to setting up of direct flights to Vietnam, these wonderful recreational places are accessible for citizens of Russia.

A huge choice of hotels of every level is at service of Russian guests. There is a great number of restaurants, bars, cafes, night clubs and beauty salons and SPAs. You can taste the courses of Vietnamese and European kitchen and, of course, exotic fruits and freshest marine products. Several diving schools are always opened, we have to notice that the windsurfers from all over the world come to Vietnam to enjoy high waves and good wind.

Those who wish a particular solitude during holidays can reach on a boat numerous small islands not far from the coast and take up residence in a cozy bungalow.

Another undoubted advantage of a trip to Vietnamese resorts is the fact that Russian citizens don’t need visa if they are going there for less than 15 days. But for our passengers we have prepared a special surprise. Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vietnam has ordered that the citizens of Russia going to Vietnam in visa-free regime (flight Vladivostok — Ho Chi Minh City — Beijing) will get free visa for 17 days on the Border Guard Service of Ho Chi Minh airport.

Vladivostok Air makes a present for all fans of wind and waves going to Ho Chi Minh City — one free carriage for a set of equipment for diving.

One round-trip ticket (Vladivostok — Ho Chi Minh City) costs 16 800 rubles (~400 €).

Citizens of Sakhalin Oblast and Kamchatka Krai can also enjoy the creature comforts like tourists from Primorye and Khabarovsk Krai (there are flights planned from Khabarovsk to Cam Ranh). Especially for them our airline company has provided convenient connections in the airport of Vladivostok with flights to Ho Chi Minh City at the best fares.
