OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2011. The third international conference on the development of the automotive industry will take place on the 25th of October in the Hyatt Regency Kiev hotel in Kyiv, Ukraine. The head of the international organization OICA (Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles), Mr. Yves van der Straaten, invited by the President of the Ukrainian association of automobile manufacturers “Ukrautoprom” Mr. Mykhailo Reznik, will be attending the conference. In the framework of the conference, the head of the most well-known association of the automotive industry in the world will deliver a speech in which he will discuss his view of the current state of the industry in Ukraine and the possible development paths of automobile manufacturing in the country.

“Ukraine, as an automobile manufacturing country with a well-developed transport infrastructure and high transit opportunities, should be regarded as a reliable and very perspective partner by the world automobile business,” has stated the Secretary General of OICA, - “We pay great attention to all positive changes observed on the markets of those countries that offer good perspectives for the automobile manufacture development. Certainly, Ukraine belongs to such a number of countries”.
AutoPROm.ua 2011 is traditionally attended by regulators, which makes the dialogue between business and the state much more constructive and interesting. The impact of legislative initiatives on the automotive market of Ukraine and the implementation of the state industrial policy affects everyone whose professional activities are linked with the automotive industry.
The State Economic Target Program of the Automotive Industry and the regulatory policy of the automotive market until 2020, a roadmap for development of the industry for the next nine years, is a much needed document in Ukraine today. This document will speed up the integration of the national automotive industry into the global automotive manufacturing, it will also improve the economic-judicial relations in the Ukrainian market, and it will increase the effectiveness and volume of production, thus increasing budgetary gains on all levels. State officials will be attending the conference to comment on the program.
The owners and the management of Ukrainian automotive companies, international experts and analysts, representatives of leading insurance and banking companies will be discussing current affairs related to the Ukrainian automotive industry that have a direct impact on the future development of the said industry. Such topics as the Free Trade Zone with the European Union and the Current Investment Climate in Ukraine will be present on the agenda. Nataliya Yaresko, the founding partner and Executive Director of Horizon Capital, has kindly agreed to present a report and discuss with the participants the current situation and investment perspectives in Ukraine.
