OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2011. Certificates of compliance with the international standards for quality management systems (ISO 9001:2008) and environmental management systems (ISO 14001:2004) for KEGOC IMS (Integrated Management System) have been extended for three years.

Zhanabai Beksary, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, noted that confirmation of the validity of the TUV International certificates demonstrates the success of the actions within KEGOC, which aimed for sustainable internal development and a high level of consumer satisfaction.

The certificates are valid for all KEGOC divisions: the Executive Administration, Intersystem Electrical Networks branches, National Dispatch Centre of the System Operator and Energoinform JSC (in terms of ensuring the performance of the system operator functions).

The audit was conducted by Interсertifika TUV jointly with TUV Thuringen (Moscow), a partner of the certification authority TUV CERT of the incorporated company TUV Thuringen e.V. (Germany). The representatives of the certification authority made a special mention of the high motivation of the management and staff in maintaining and improving IMS, as well as their system approach to the process.

The supervisory audit proved the compliance of the occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS 18001:2007) of KEGOC IMS.

The company’s IMS covers the fulfilment of the system operator functions in the power sector: rendering of electricity transmission, technical dispatching and electricity production–consumption balancing services to the wholesale electricity market participants via the national grid.

The next audit of KEGOC IMS is planned for May–June 2012.
