OREANDA-NEWS. October 4, 2011. Chernogorsk open-pit mine (JSC SUEK-Khakassia) put into commission seven Terex TR100 mining trucks featuring the 90 tonne payload, and two Liebherr 580 wheel loaders equipped with 5.5 m3 buckets. This investment cost approximately 300m roubles. Liebherr wheel loaders are already in use at open-pit mines operated by SUEK in Khakassia, whereas Terex mining trucks are new items of 2011.

"Nearly always Chernogorsk open-pit mine has been a test site for new machines to be used in our region, so that is why we have amassed the entire fleet of the new Terex trucks here," commented Alexei Keelin, the managing director of the Chernogorsk subsidiary of SUEK. "Any peculiarities in operating the new equipment will be subsequently analyzed and shared with all specialists in the company.

The manufacturer took into account wishes of future owners and introduced a number of modifications in the design of the mining trucks at the stage of manufacturing. Already when assembling the supplied trucks, the employees of the mining-and-transport shop at Chernogorsk open-pit mine highly appreciated the simplicity and reliability of the new equipment.
