Bank of East Asia (Trustees) Limited (“BEA Trustees”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of East Asia (“BEA”) that specialises in the Mandatory Provident Fund (“MPF”) business, announces that it has won CAPITAL Magazine’s “CAPITAL Merit of MPF Achievement” Award as part of the CAPITAL Merits of Achievements in Banking and Finance 2011 award programme, reported the press-centre of BEA.

 This is the second consecutive year that BEA Trustees has been recognised by CAPITAL Magazine for its outstanding performance among MPF providers in Hong Kong. The company was judged by CAPITAL’s editorial board and a panel of judges based on four criteria, namely service, performance, growth and distribution.

Mr. Patrick Li, Director & Chief Executive of BEA Trustees, received the award at the award ceremony held yesterday. “BEA Trustees is truly honoured to receive this recognition for our performance in 2010. We are particularly delighted to receive this highly coveted award for a second year in a row, as it reaffirms our position as a leading provider of MPF services in Hong Kong. In addition to this award, BEA Trustees won the “Best MPF Scheme” Award in metroBox Magazine’s Prime Awards for Banking and Finance Corporations 2011 programme in August of this year.
