OREANDA-NEWS. October 7, 2011. Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” is going to provide the Nuclear Industry Suppliers’ Forum “Atomex Europe”. The Forum will be held on October 25-26, 2011 in the National House of Vinohrady, Prague, Czech Republic.

The Forum is an event within the Atomex project which has been successfully underway for three years and aimed at broadening the circle of suppliers for construction of NPPs to Russian technologies in Russia and abroad, improving quality of supplied products and services, and optimizing investment resources. The Forum will frame a conference and exhibition of equipment and services for the nuclear industry.

Main themes of the Forum this year are “International cooperation in building nuclear power plants”, “Rosatom’s projects in constructing NPPs. Opportunities for cooperation”, “How to become a nuclear industry supplier. Requirements for quality to nuclear equipment suppliers”.

The Forum will be held on thematic meetings by product suppliers with presentations and discussions on the procurement: technical specifications, quality requirements. There will be key speakers from companies supplying equipment and services, including Russian representatives of State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom”, JSC “TVEL”, JSC “Atomenergomash”, JSC “Atomstroyexport”, OJSC “NIAEP”, “Rosenergoatom Concern” OJSC, JSC “Atomenergoproekt” JSC “SPbAEP”.

Hosting the Nuclear Industry Suppliers´ Forum Atomex in Prague is not coincidental. The collaboration of the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation within the nuclear machinery sector has had a lasting tradition. This is to be further supported by the above mentioned program of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom to implement projects on construction of nuclear power plants in Russia and abroad and to expand the number of suppliers willing to provide high quality modern equipment that meets European standards.
