National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India, has once again proved its laurels in the field of export of its products in the global market. The company has bagged the Top Export Award of CAPEXIL, for its outstanding export performance during the year 2010-11. On behalf of the company, Shri P. K. Parida, Executive Director (Marketing), received the award from Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minisiter of State for Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, in Mumbai on 30th September, 2011. 

During the fiscal 2010-11, NALCO exported 639,855  MT alumina and 98,200 MT aluminium to different countries earning Rs. 2,065 crore.

It may be mentioned that NALCO has bridged the demand-supply gap in the country by saving the outflow of foreign exchange and has given the country a new identity, a formidable presence in the international market. The company is exporting its products including calcined alumina and aluminium metal to 15 countries across the globe.
