OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2011. Latvian national airline airBaltic has introduced a new service - an extra seat for more space and comfort.

Janis Vanags, Vice President Corporate Communications of airBaltic: “This summer airBaltic has achieved record high load factors. On average, 8 out of 10 seats are occupied, with many flights completely full, and the passengers rarely have an empty seat next to them. The airline now offers an opportunity to purchase an extra seat for more room and comfort.”

Now passengers flying airBaltic Economy class and Economy Flex can have the extra seat for a service fee starting from EUR 50 per single flight. The extra seat can be booked in airBaltic ticket offices, travel agencies or by contacting airBaltic call centre.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base at Riga, Latvia. From every one of these, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
