OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2011. The International money transfer system UNISTREAM almost completely switched its operations in Mongolia to addressless mode. This convenient option enables the clients to pick up the cash sent at any UNISTREAM location in the beneficiary country, reported the press-centre of UNISTREAM.

The Moscow-headquartered operator and its partner Blue Diamond Co. Ltd (head office in Ulan Bator), have completed the second phase of the integration project, making this option available to customers.

Currenlty the UNISTREAM services are provided in nearly 400 outlets of Blue Diamond in 336 cities and settlements across the country. After converting them in addressless mode, 98 percent of the UNISTREAM locations in Mongolia began to function in this format.

UNISTREAM is working with Blue Diamond for over 3 years, carrying out transfers in Russian rubles, US-dollars and euros.

Converting in unaddresseless option in Mongolia is a part of the UNISTREAM program to introduce the regime in all its locations worldwide. This great-scaled project was launched initially in the CIS, where more than a half of system’s network is now converted in this regime.

"Addressless UNISTREAM option has been appreciated by our customers. Realizing that it is one of the components of comfort and quality of services, the system management has set itself the task to develop it intensively everywhere we are present", said Suren Hayriyan, the president for UNISTREAM.

He noted that this program is steadily growing, not only in Mongolia but also throughout the Asian region.

Speaking of the system itself in this country, he informed that in the first half of 2011 turnover rose by 18 percent compared to the same period of 2010.

UNISTREAM has actively been working on the program to promote a unified customer card (UCC). Almost one-third of all inbound transfers in this country are the UCC-ones.
