OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2011. Kaluga Turbine Works (KTZ, OJSC) Company, member of Power Machines Group, has signed a contract to supply two packages of power generating equipment for CCPPs being built at Kazanskaya TPP-2.

The contract has been signed with KER-Holding Management Company, LLC (Kazan). Under the terms of this contract, OJSC KTZ is to design, manufacture and supply two T-26/36-7.5/0.12 turbines with a capacity of 32 MW each and also to supply two turbogenerators produced by Elektrotyazhmash–Privod, LLC (located in the town of Lysva, Perm Region). The scope of responsibilities of KTZ includes installation supervision and commissioning works.

KTZ is to deliver the first package of equipment (turbine and generator) to the customer by October 01, 2013 and the second one – by April 01, 2014.

The T-26/36 machine is a condensing turbine with intermediate low pressure steam input circuit of low pressure steam and controlled district heating steam extraction. KTZ has experience in designing similar turbines operating in CCPPs at Vologodskaya, Astrakhanskaya and Kolpinskaya TPPs. The units supplied by KTZ are to operate in two CCPP-110 at Kazanskaya TPP-2.
