October 26, 2011.At the end of September, under the contract with OJSC "Gasprom" OJSC "Perm Engine Company" has supplied two gas turbine plants GTU-16P to serve Nord Stream "Elisavetinskaya" compressor station (CS). During 2009-2011, in compliance with the contract mentioned, "PMZ" has shipped 8 gas turbine plants with the rated power of 16 MW and one stand-by engine to this CS. The last shipment has completed "Elisavetinskaya" CS procurement.

From September, 2009 under the contract with OJSC "Gasprom" Perm Engine Company has produced and shipped 25 gas turbine plants and 4 stand-by engines to 4 overland compressor stations of Nord Stream. In March, 2011 the company has supplied 8 GTU-25P and one stand-by engine to "Babaevskaya" CS. In November, 2011 "PMZ" is to ship 4 more plants with the rated power of 16 MW - one to "Pikalevskaya" CS and three to "Sheksninskaya" CS. This shipment will complete Perm GTU procurement of Nord Stream. All in all, 29 "PMZ" gas turbine plants will serve this principal pipeline system.

Commenting on fulfillment of contractual obligations to "PMZ" major partners, Alexej Mikhalev, "PMZ" CEO, emphasizes: "We consider our cooperation with OJSC "Gasprom" to be strategically important for our company development. Our enterprise is the main supplier of gas turbine plants not only for Nord Stream, but also for other new main gas pipelines in Russia: "Bovanenkovo-Ukhta", "Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok". To strengthen and reinforce our partnership we extend the line of gas turbine plants produced and keep working at their quality and reliability improvement. As a result, the overhaul life of our leader plants is more than 40 thousand hours instead of standard 25 thousand hours. On the whole, this allows us to control 40% of Russian gas turbine plants market and keep attracting new customers".
