OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2011. TNK-BP is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the BP-branded service station network in Russia and the 5th anniversary of BP Ultimate fuel. The BP retail network has set new standards of service on the Russian market, providing clients with a wide range of high-quality products and services in addition to quality fuel, via its 24/7 BP Connect stores and Wild Bean Cafe network, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

As part of the double celebration, TNK-BP has presented a gift to admirers of the BP brand in Russia by opening the 100th service station on the territory of the Russian Federation in 2011.

“We are proud to have held on to our leading position on the Russian fuels market for many years now. In the next three years we’re planning to build another 50 service stations both in our current markets - Moscow, St.Petersburg and the Moscow, Leningrad and Tver Regions – as well as in new areas for us – the Smolensk, Novgorod and Rostov Regions and Krasnodar Territory”, said Olexandr Nesterov, Vice President, Marketing.

TNK-BP is Russia’s third largest oil company and is owned by BP and the AAR consortium (Alfa Group/Access Industries/Renova) on a parity basis.
