OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2011. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by Rostelecom OJSC to pay interest on the eighth coupon of the company’s Series 13 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The bondholders were paid coupon interest at a rate of 11% per annum, or 27 rubles 42 kopecks per bond. The total amount of coupon interest paid after tax ran up to 54,829,866 rubles.

Rostelecom OJSC offered its Series 13 bond issue on February 15, 2011 by converting Series BO-01 bonds issued by the Southern Telecommunications Company OJSC that was taken over by Rostelecom OJSC.

The Southern Telecommunications Company OJSC floated its three-year Series BO-01 bond issue on October 21, 2009 to raise 2 billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank acted as managing underwriter and issue distribution agent.
