OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and the Office of Competition of the Republic of Finland signed a Cooperation Programme for 2012-2013, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The antimonopoly authorities of the two countries agreed to expand exchanging informational materials, organize joint training courses and conferences on the issues of antimonopoly policy.

The heads of competition authorities of Russia and Finland – Igor Artemyev and Juhani Jokinen plan to inform each other about investigations of anticompetitive activities of companies if registered in the other state, and if anticompetitive actions of economic entities can affect the interest of the other party.

Also the Head of FAS Igor Artemyev suggested organizing a joint event for Russian and Finnish judges specializing in antimonopoly cases.
