OREANDA-NEWS. November 1, 2011. Gazpromneft-Nefteservis has completed a sale of LLC YamalServiceCenter to JSC RU-Energy Group. The transaction was approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation.

According to the agreement, YamalServiceCenter will retain its long-term contracts with guaranteed amount of work with Gazprom Neft affiliates till the end of 2013. The agreement also states that the terms of the collective employment agreement with former YamalServiceCenter employees will remain unchanged.

Gazprom Neft Board of Directors decided to exit the oilfield service business in March 2010. All transportation companies, including Muravlenko Transportation Company, Spetstransservice and Service Transportation Company, as well as indirect production company Noyabrsk Central Piping Base have already been sold.

LLC YamalServiceCenter is a maintenance center for drilling and oilfield equipment; drilling rigs, well pad infrastructure etc. The company includes a machine-assembly department, a drilling and oilfield equipment repair department, five rig-up teams, four teams for well infrastructure development, a maintenance base, and other business units.

Being the largest maintenance center in Noyabrsk region the company provides its services to the customers from Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Regions, Krasnodar, Izhevsk, Samara, Orenburg, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, and other regions.

The company employs about 1.3 thousand people. In 2010 YamalServiceCenter reported revenue of 2.6 bln. rubles. Within year 2010, the company equipped 48 well pads, served 63 drilling rigs; 321 operating and injection wells.
