OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2011. PIK Group, a leading Russian real estate developer focusing on large-scale residential projects within the Moscow Metropolitan Area and selected Russian regions, today celebrates the grand opening event of a new kindergarten №19, located in  Levoberezhny district of Khimki.  A new kindergarten, integrated into the first two floors of one of the residential building, is fully built and equipped by PIK Group.

A new two-storey built-in kindergarten with total area of 1,388 sq. m hosts 100 children in 5 classes. There are methodical room, catering and medical facilities, large classroom on the first floor. The Second floor locates four classrooms, music room with a piano, athletic gym equipped with racks for sports equipment and gymnastic walls. Classrooms are fitted with children's furniture, multifunctional bookcases, television and video equipment.

The adjacent territory is a well-developed playground. The new kindergarten meets all the requirements for comfort environments of children, and it is convenient for teachers.

Khimki is situated at the intersection of one of the most important transport corridors of Russia, namely the Moscow to St. Petersburg highway, the Oktyabsrkaja railway, and the Moscow River. Khimki is one of the largest satellite cities of Moscow with a population of approximately 186,000 people. The surrounding neighborhood comprises mainly residential buildings.

Access to Moscow by public transport can be done by shuttle buses to the nearest metro stations (Rechnoy vokzal, Planernaya, Tushinskaya and Voikovskaya) and by rail (the nearest station is Levoberezhnaya, 1.5 km away; the total travel time to the city centre is 1 hour). In Levoberegniy microdistrict of Khimki PIK Group has a new area of integrated development.
