OREANDA-NEWS. November 7, 2011. Tata Teleservices has been awarded the SAP ACE Award 2011 for ‘best-run compliant organisation’. The award, which was presented at a gathering of industry leaders in Mumbai yesterday, was received by AG Rao, executive president, enterprise and technology, Tata Teleservices. The award was decided by an eminent jury which included industry leaders and IIT Bombay senior faculty. There were over 300 nominations from across industry verticals and regions.

 “We are delighted to be recognised as the best-run compliant organisation for 2011 in terms of our SAP implementation — and the credit for this goes to our IT, finance and HR functions, which helped set new standards in SAP implementation and keeping the Tata Teleservices banner flying high,” Mr Rao said. “We have derived significant value from our SAP system and look forward to continuing to leverage the platform to improve productivity and deliver benefits to our business,” he added.
